Trip to KL's Golden Triangle with M By Hgroup

Yes, this is a wayyyyyy overdue post, sorry! If I didn't remember wrongly, this trip was in Feburary this year. Anyhow, this is gonna be a picture-filled post.

*This trip was made possible thanks to M By Hgroup, I went as a writer*

We stayed in a 2-bedroom suite apartment at The Ascott, a 5-star serviced apartment complex located in the Central Business District (CBD) area. Since there were 4 of us, Yi Jun and I shared one room while the guys took the other. The suite was lovely and our room was huge! We had a King size bed, two wardrobes, a television, an armchair with a separate leg rest and still, had ample space. The toilet too, was extremely spacious; we had two sinks, a bathtub, a standing shower area, the toilet bowl (of course) and lots of walking/standing space in the middle.

Yes, my bangs are ridiculously long.

And after we checked in and all, off we went! Our first stop was the Cultural Market.

Then, we headed towards Berjaya Times Square where I tried archery for the first time.

After that, we went bowling. It was a pity we didn't have time for the theme park.

Dinner was at a Japanese restaurant, which was quite good! After that, we went searching for KL's famous Luk Luks. I'm glad we did! One, we don't have it in Singapore and two, the food was really good! And the boss was extremely cheery.

So he gamely posed for a photo.

After that, we went bar hopping. Here, I'm only gonna feature two because these two were the most memorable ones.

This is Skybar at Traders Hotel. I love how there's a pool right smack in the middle of the bar; this is not something you usually see and somehow, the pool just sets the mood in the place together with the lighting and atmosphere. You can also see KL's skyline.

This is at the MO Bar at Mandarin Oriental Hotel where I had the loveliest cocktail made by the bartender who was equally charming with his words.

After that, we checked out our hotel's rooftop swimming pool. Because it was already past midnight, around 2 or 3 am, most of the lights were switched off except for the laundry room (which explains the light coming from the left side of the photo below)

The next day, we had breakfast at the hotel's restaurant which is on the same floor as the rooftop swimming pool.

Hair fresh out of the shower, which explains the 'fluffiness' haha.

This is from the Egg Station which is outside the restaurant so don't miss it out if you are gonna stay at The Ascott, the omelettes were delish!

And after we were done with breakfast, off we went again! That day, our itinerary was mostly filled with shopping malls and more malls.

Because I love Tiffany & Co.

This toilet's uber cool! You have to turn the wheel to dispense water out of the tap.

It was 2D1N trip but I took tons of pictures and had loads of fun. If you want to see the rest of the photos, you can check out my FB album here.
