Sponsored Review: The NEW Sunplay SKIN Aqua UV Moisture Milk SPF50 PA++

I personally think that Japanese skincare products work really great on Asian skin. All my favourite, and best skincare products (even makeup removers) are brands from Japan.

Since I was a little girl, I never liked using sunblock. I hated the greasy and oily texture and the smell of it so much that I'd go swimming without applying any sunblock at all. (I used to swim every week for 2 years) Actually, that habit never changed until now, that is, until I received this sunblock to try and review.

Before I begin my thoughts about the product, let me first tell you what it claims it can do.

"The lotion is comfy and absorbs quickly without giving a white cast. It is non-greasy with a matt powdery finish for the perfect makeup primer.

Skin Aqua has Solarex-3, a revolutionary formula with 3 comprehensive levels of UV defense. It protects skin from surface to deep within for long hours. Super hydrating too!

The New Generation Solarex-3 (3-in-1 Sun Protection)

1) Long Lasting, Superior UV Protection: Advanced photo-stability with the higest UVA & UVB protection for long periods of safe sun exposure. UV rays are reflected away like from a mirror.

2) UV Anti-Aging Protection: Two powerful anti-aging ingredients, RonaCare Exotin and French Golden Algae, help to prevent pigmentation and wrinkles from surface to deep within.

3) Intense Hydration (Dryness Protection): Hyaluronic Acid, Collagen & Vitamin E intensely hydrate and lock-in moisture for long hours, so skin stays refreshing moist."

Comfy, indeed it is. Other sunblocks make my skin feel like there's an uncomfortable layer over it, but for this, my skin doesn't feel like that at all. And it doesn't leave a white cast either. After application, there's a slight sheen on your skin (like the picture above) but after it's absorbed, it has a matte powdery finish, just like what it claims.

For the other claims, like the reflection of the UV rays, anti-aging and all, I can't really be sure since I can't see those with the naked eye haha. But, I have faith in Japanese skincare products (my experiences with them have always been a positive one, and I don't think this will be any different).

I'm just really chuffed that I now know the existence of this product haha. I mean, I used to choose going without sunblock whenever I go swimming, even though I know that UV rays are really harmful to the skin because well, I really hate that greasy and oily texture of sunblocks. BUT, now that I have the Sunplay Skin Aqua sunblock, I can now engage in any outdoor activity (especially swimming) without compromising my skin.

So, thank you very much Sunplay, for sending me this product. :)

It is fragrance, alcohol and oil free, suitable for all skin types! You can get this at Watsons, Guardian, Sasa, Unity and other major departmental stores.
