I have a particular fondness towards this editorial campaign. I mean, although it's not really one that leaves you enthralled by the art direction (like my post about Chanel and Miu Miu's Spring 2013 campaign ads), there's something about it that draws you in. (or for me at least)
I must say though, that I'm a sucker for images with the colour processed like these. I love soft, muted tones in high key images. And plus, there's a hint of vintage charm to it. You guys know I love vintage so yeah haha.
When I look through this campaign ad, I feel like I'm looking at pictures an avid shutterbug took of his wife/girlfriend while they're travelling. There's something relatable to these photos, and I like that. I also like how the shots are framed and how the colours on the outfit complement the surroundings/background; there's a harmonious aesthetic to this spread.
