Thanks to NYLON Magazine Singapore for the pair of complimentary weekend passes to Urbanscapes 2013 held in Kuala Lumpur, I was able to catch one my favourite bands, Franz Ferdinand, play live! Their live performance was brilliant! So so happy, and the added cherry on top? Tse Lyn (my plus one) and I actually ran into the guitarist from the band!! And we got a picture taken together. Heh. But ok more on Urbanscapes itself in another post. ;)
I brought my Plantronics BackBeat Go 2 with me because really, wireless is the way to go, especially when you're travelling/on the go and at an event like this! I have my luggage, my bag and my camera slung across my body. I also have to carry some things like my phone and passport, in my hand. So if I were using the conventional earphones (with the wire), it will definitely get in the way.
The Plantronics BackBeat Go 2 proved even more useful while I was at Urbanscapes itself. Because, when you are at an event that starts early afternoon and ends only near midnight, you know for sure that your phone's battery is gonna run out. So, I brought my portable charger with me. And if I also use a wired pair of earphones at the same time, that would be very annoying, here's a photo to show you why:
See I have my phone attached to my portable charger, then my wired earphones attached to my iPhone (which I use as my iPod haha), and with my bag and camera slung across my body. Too much wire action/strap action going on right there. *shakes head in disapproval*
BUT, with the Plantronics BackBeat Go 2, it's so much better!
I can actually just keep my iPhone into my bag cos I can now go wireless! So the only wire I will have left is my phone connected to my portable charger. It's alot easier to move around and all, which was very helpful when we were playing Jenga!
It's a task we had to do after getting a really thirst-quenching and delicious kiwi-grape flavoured popsicle mmmm. So, if I were using a wired pair of earphones, they would for sure get in the way and affect my Jenga game! Hahaha. But with my wireless Plantronics BackBeat Go 2, what wires?
One of the guys manning the game had his interest piqued when he saw my earphones hahaha and he thought it was a really cool gadget! So he wanted to try it out himself.
And he's impressed! Heh.
With wired earphones, it's just too messy and inconvenient, especially when you are at a festival/concert. Wireless is the way to go without compromising on fun and convenience!
And plus, it complements my outfits daily, effortlessly!
