Introducing Tahpre, a 5-free Korean Cosmetics Skincare brand - The young just got younger!

It's no secret that I'm a sucker for anything vintage-inspired, and that I love discovering good skincare products. So just imagine my excitement when I received this 4 in 1 Festive Collection Set from Tahpre Skincare Cosmetics, a brand from Korea! It's like Christmas came 2 months early heh.

I really love the product packaging's vintage pin-up look - so playful and sexy at the same time.

Note: I've been using these products everyday for about 2 months already and hence, this review would be a very accurate one! ;)

Wake Up Call Refreshing Toner (120 ml) - $29.90
 photo PC190916_zpsbccdfa5b.jpg
Wake-up Call is an alcohol-free toner that keeps your skin revitalised and prepped for the day.

Contains Polyglutamic acid a new remarkably potent hydrating compound extracted from Soybeans with effective Moisturising, Anti-wrinkle, Brightening, and Nourishing capabilities.

Also contains Vitamin B which induces faster recovery in damaged/acne skin, slows down skin ageing and aids in UV protection, glycerin, dipropylene glycol, Pulsatilla koreana extract (traditional korean herbal medicine), licorice root extract (reduces flaking, restores suppleness with skin soothing capabilities), aloe vera leaf juice powder and organic fragrances (lavender, peppermint, Chamomile and Rosemary).

To use: After cleansing face, use a cotton pad soaked with toner, and apply onto face.
This toner doesn't make my skin feel too tight or uncomfortable in any way. My skin does feel refreshed and awakened, it's like prepping it for the other products I'll be applying on to it later.

The Victory 3 in 1 Lotion (120 ml) - $31.90
 photo PC190917_zpsb4969dd3.jpg
The 1 step skin care solution.

With lightweight, non-greasy and great anti-oxidant organic oils such as Meadowfoam and Jojoba Oil that acts as a second skin layer providing protection and emolliency while still allowing the skin to breathe. The Victory is perfect for oily and acne prone skin.

Also contains potent natural hydrating compounds such as Hyaluronic Acid, Polyglutamic acid and beeswax. Its Vitamin B content induces faster recovery in damaged skin, slows down skin ageing, smoothens skin and diminishes wrinkles, offers UV protection, lightens pigmentation and has anti-inflammatory and anti-acne properties.

Victory is just 1 step away!

To use: Apply 2-3 pumps after toner, massage the skin gently. Apply more (5 pumps) for a moisture mask effect. Alternatively, mix a few drops to foundation before application.

If you only have time for one skincare product, this is it! With Singapore's fast-paced lifestyle and our busy schedules, I won't be surprised if we skimp on our skincare regime because we lack the time to do so. The Victory Lotion is actually an all-in-one product - toner, moisturiser, whitening and nourishing lotion.

As some of you may know, I went to Nepal for my year-end vacation with my best friend. Both of us wanted to pack light, bringing with us only a 35 litre backpack. So of course, I can't bring my full skincare regime along with me. I brought just a bottle of The Victory 3 in 1 lotion, and it sufficed! This lotion doesn't feel heavy on my skin, as with some moisturising lotions and my skin absorbs it pretty well.

Mind Reader Night Revitalising Essence (50 ml) - $47.90
 photo PC190921_zpse0d6b227.jpg
The triple-function smart essence that delivers - whitening, moisturising and nourishing. Now you can go to bed easy.

Contains Polyglutamic acid a new remarkably potent hydrating compound extracted from Soybeans with effective Moisturising, Anti-wrinkle, Brightening, and Nourishing capabilities. Also contains vitamin B which induces faster recovery in damaged/acne skin, slows down skin ageing, smoothes skin, diminishes wrinkles, aids in UV protection and brightens skin, and Macadamia seed Oil- light and not greasy, making it a great all rounded oil for the skin; can soften, moisturize and even add a glow to dry or damaged skin.

Scented with organic Rosemary, Peppermint, Chamomile and Lavender extract, it makes a good night sleep even better.

To use: Apply essence sparingly to your face and neck.

My current night time skincare regimes revolves around 4 skincare products which I rotate on a nightly basis (unless I'm feeling lazy that night ha ha ha). And 3 out of that 4 products are from Tahpre. 2 out of that 3 products are used together, which is this and the next product I'm sharing with you:

Silk Underwear Hydrating Cream (50 ml) - $47.90
 photo PC190920_zpse02b466b.jpg
Silk Underwear hydrates and refines your skin removing fine lines and wrinkles while adding a touch of whitening.

It’s Beeswax content forms a smooth protective layer over the skin, keepsing the dirt out while locking moisture in. Also contains Ethylhexyl Stearate a natural plant extract which prevents of water loss and Polyglutamic acid that has extremely effective Moisturising, Anti-wrinkle, Brightening, and Nourishing capabilities.

Also contains Vitamin B, Organic Oils, (Meadowfoam seed Oil and camellia japonica seed oil -high emollient properties, can be effective to spot treat small wrinkles and diminish minor scars), licorice root extract and aloe vera leaf juice extract.

Some say your skin has never been so “silky smooth”.

To use: Apply after Essence. Use a suitable amount of cream on face.

So yeap, the Mind Reader Night Revitalising Essence and the Silk Underwear Hydrating Cream go hand in hand together. I like how both products don't feel too heavy or rich on my skin. It feels luxurious and comfortable (pretty aptly named Silk Underwear hahaha).

Hydrating, moisturising and whitening is probably the best combination you would want to get from a night cream and essence. Because whitening also means one step closer to clearer skin, it's not just about getting one or two shades fairer, whitening also means the lightening of your blemishes. Also, as someone who sleeps in an air-conditioned room every night, hydrating and moisturising is VERY important.

And I've saved the best for the last. *cues drum roll!* Introducing the

Dream Cream Peptide Cream (50 ml) - $59.90
 photo PC190919_zpsf320b5a5.jpg
The most effective anti-ageing cream in the market. Contains Peptide complexes which works similarly to botox- naturally relaxing facial tension, leading to the relaxation of facial muscles that contribute to lines and wrinkles and on top of that simulating cell growth. Complemented with Lecithin which works as an effective delivery agent to improve penetration the Dream Cream is one of a kind.

Also contains potent natural hydrating compounds such as Hyaluronic Acid, Polyglutamic acid and Beeswax, organic natural oils (Meadowfoam and Jojoba oil), Arubtin (effective whitening agent) and Adensine (good for crows feet and forehead wrinkles).
How to use: Apply a suitable amount around eyes, mouth or neck (or any part of the body that requires firming). Pat and massage gently to absorb.
Simply put, it's like botox in cream form!! There's no need to go under a needle (I hate needles) or spend a significant sum to get that botox effect with this cream. It's no surprise the Dream Cream is their bestseller because it really is quite effective! I know I may only be 21, what anti-ageing would I need you might ask. Well, no loss in starting young/early! Definitely my favourite product out of all the 5 they sent me.
