Lovemore and Sexylook are brands that are no stranger to the facial masks market. In fact, both brands have received rave reviews from its users. I was sent the Lovemore Water Beauty Series mask (left) in Thermal Water Brightening and the Sexylook Micro Inject Series from the lovely people at Secretive.
Lovemore's newly upgraded Water Beauty Series come in three ranges - Brightening, Hydrating or Soothing. And the people at Secretive sure know what my skin needs because they sent me the Brightening range! ;) Do you know that this range contains thermal water that is rich in minerals from Japan's Kagoshima volcanic hot spring?
There's a total of 5 masks in the box btw!
Today, I'll be reviewing Lovemore's one only. So do look out for my review for the Sexylook mask very soon!
I won't be posting before and after photos of how my skin looks before and after the mask since photos can be edited right? So you guys take my verbal review instead ok? Haha.
After removing the mask, I can see that my skin looks somewhat brighter. Like less dull hehe. Fyi, I usually "examine" my skin near the window, under bright sunlight so I can see all the "flaws" clearly.
As mentioned earlier, this mask contains thermal water, and this water is rich in minerals which helps to nourish and brighten up the skin. Not only that, the mask is also specially formulated with Biowhite to reduce pigmentation and brighten up skin effectively. Ah no wonder!
And if you're wondering what's the difference from the old one to this newly upgraded version, well the new one is thinner and it's also formulated with triple moisture-lock for long-lasting hydration and moisturizing.
Oh and the best part? It's made from natural silk sheet. I once hosted an event for a skincare brand and so I know that silk masks are wayyyy better than cotton masks because it allows your skin to absorb all the goodness from the mask faster and more efficiently. If you don't believe me, you can go do a quick research online. ;)
So yes, I'd say this mask is worth a try.
